Aggressive movers in the transfer market, there’s no excuses for the Glory this season. Coach Kenny Lowe has been able to put together the squad he wants and he will be hoping there will be no repeat of the drama that engulfed the club for much of the last campaign.
With so many personnel changes it might take the Glory a bit of time to settle but there is quality and experience right through the squad. Should definitely challenge for a top six berth.

Star Man:
Andy Keogh ($331,000)
The big question at the end of last season was how would the Glory replace the goals of Shane Smeltz? Well they have their answer in the form of Keogh. The Irishman is a prolific goal-scorer wherever he has played and has been in brilliant form in pre-season. With the likes of Hersi, Nichols, Sidnei and Garcia providing the service, Keogh could be in for a big season.
Bargain Buy:
Dino Djulbic ($98,000)
Back in the Hyundai A-League after three seasons abroad, Djulbic not only beefs up the Glory’s defence but looms as a handy pick-up for fantasy participants. His partnership with Michael Thwaite in defence in front of in-form ‘keeper Danny Vukovic and the Glory will be hard to break down. Djulbic is also capable of grabbing a few goals when he gets into the opposition box at set pieces.
Likely starting XI: (4-2-3-1)
Danny Vukovic (GK), Josh Risdon , Dino Djulbic, Michael Thwaite, Scott Jamieson, Rostyn Griffiths, Mitch Nichols, Youssouf Hersi, Nebojsa Marinkovic, Richad Garcia, Andy Keogh
