Brisbane Roar centre-back Leia Varley has signed a two-year contract extension with the Ninja A-League side.
Varley, who arrived in Brisbane ahead of the 2024-25 campaign, will remain at the club through to the end of the 2026-27 season.

The 23-year-old defender has impressed since joined from Premiership-winning Melbourne City, making 14 appearances while scoring her maiden A-Leagues goal to go with 64 clearances, 10 blocks and 25 interceptions.

“I am excited to extend my time here at Brisbane roar,” Varley said.
“The club, this season, has given me a chance to really make a name for myself in the league and I know I will only keep advancing as a footballer every time I walk out in the Roar colours.
“This season, I believe, is only a taste of a new era for the Brisbane roar which the fans should be excited about. Something special is definitely building and just like before I have no doubt Roar will be back to lifting trophies.
