5SOS supporting Wanderers in Sydney Derby

Western Sydney Wanderers FC will have some celebrity backing with Aussie rockers Five Seconds Of Summer set to attend Wanderland to support the red and black in Saturday night’s Sydney Derby.

After winning the award for Best New Talent at the American Music Awards last week the lads from Western Sydney have been back in town and keen to reconnect with the West.

And what better way to do that, than by seeing the Wanderers in action at Wanderland.

What’s more 5 Seconds Of Summer have been keen to catch up with the Wanderers boys (pictured) to learn more about their incredible success in the Asian Champions League and in the Hyundai A-League over the last two years.

Like the Wanderers, the band knows what it’s like to arrive home to a rock star reception at Sydney airport with hysterical fans cramming the arrivals terminal earlier this week to see the band.

Earlier this month, the Wanderers were greeted by hordes of excited fans at the airport after winning Asia’s showpiece club trophy the ACL.

The pop-rock group from Western Sydney, formed in 2011, are one of the hottest acts in the world right now and now they’re set to show their support for the Champions of Asia in a crucial game for Tony Popovic’s men.

The Aussie band, who’ve toured with One Direction, has enjoyed great success in the US this year and have just embarked on their first headline tour there.

And they are preparing for the release of their new live album titled LIVESOS on December 12.

Famous for their hit “She Looks So Perfect”, 5SOS were special guests at this week’s ARIA awards where they caused mayhem on the red carpet. Now they’re going to witness the mayhem of the Sydney Derby.

Clearly 5 Seconds Of Summer sing for Wanderers.
