4 key ins for Hyundai A-League Round 4

The squad lists are through ahead of Hyundai A-League Round 4 and there are some big name players set to return this weekend.

We’ve picked out four that are back to boost their respective sides.

Adrian Mierzejewski (Sydney FC)

After missing last week’s Sydney Derby with a hamstring strain, the Polish international is back in the squad for the visit of Perth Glory on Friday night.

Has impressed immensely in what we’ve seen of him so far and if his combination with Milos Ninkovic resumes where it left off, the Sky Blues will have plenty of firepower at Allianz Stadium.

Mitch Nichols (Perth Glory)

Nichols has missed the start of the season through suspension but is back for the clash with the Sky Blues.

In a Glory side that already has plenty of creativity and flair in midfield, Nichols adds some extra quality for Kenny Lowe’s side.

And as a former Wanderer, he’d love nothing more than to inflict some pain on Sydney FC.

Mitch Nichols is in line to make his first appearance of the season for Perth Glory.

Baba Diawara (Adelaide United)

The Senegalese striker has battled injury so far this season but returns to add some extra firepower to Adelaide’s attack.

With youngster George Blackwood impressing so far for Marco Kurz’s side, Diawara might need to be content with a pinch-hitting role in Saturday night’s clash with Melbourne City.

Andrew Hoole (Central Coast Mariners)

Hoole made quite an impression in his only Hyundai A-League appearance for the Mariners so far this season, setting up both goals in the 2-2 draw with the Wanderers.

He blotted his copybook by getting sent off late on and will have a point to prove to coach Paul Okon on his return from suspension.
