It was memorable day in Wellington on Easter Sunday. All that was missing was a Phoenix victory.
After almost a year, the Phoenix returned to New Zealand to play an Isuzu UTE A-League fixture but Central Coast Mariners spoiled the party for the 18,184 spectators at Sky Stadium.
While the party didn’t go according to plan, it was a big day for the Phoenix players, their families and fans after 322 days on the road.
