Kevin Muscat and Melbourne Victory will soon part ways after 14 years of a wonderful partnership.
Signed by Ernie Merrick as the club’s inaugural captain in 2005, Muscat led the side to two Hyundai A-League Premierships and Championships (2006/07 and 2008/09).
He was appointed Victory head coach in 2013, and guided the club to another Premiership and Championship double in 2014/15, won the FFA Cup in 2015, and claimed the 2017/18 Championship title.
Muscat announced on Monday that he would be stepping down as head coach after this week’s AFC Champions League tie with Sanfrecce Hiroshima.
