New Zealand international Deven Jackson has signed a new one-year deal with reigning Ninja A-League Premiers and Champions Melbourne City.
Jackson made 24 appearances across all competitions last season, featuring across the front third and in midfield under Head Coach Michael Matricciani.
The 28-year-old now has 60 Ninja A-League appearances to her name and will remain part of City’s squad as the reigning Premiers and Champions prepare to defend their domestic titles and compete in a third consecutive AFC Women’s Champions League campaign.

Melbourne City Director of Football Michael Petrillo said Jackson had made a strong contribution in her first season at the Club.
“Deven made a really positive contribution in her first season with us and we’re pleased to have her continuing at the Club,” Petrillo said.
“She’s a technically gifted and versatile player who gives us quality across a number of attacking and midfield positions.
“We believe there’s still plenty more to come from Deven and we’re looking forward to seeing her continue to contribute to the team this season.”

Jackson said she was excited to build on her first season in City blue.
“My first season at City was an incredible experience and to finish it as Premiers and Champions was really special,” Jackson said.
“I’ve loved being part of this group and I’m excited to have the opportunity to continue building on what we achieved last season.
“I can’t wait to get back to work and hopefully help the team compete for more silverware this season.”
