The Newcastle Jets have this evening confirmed the signing of Greek striker Nikos Vergos for the next two seasons.
30-year-old Vergos joins the Club after spending the last two seasons with Melbourne
Victory, scoring 17 goals in 60 appearances.

Prior to joining the Victory, Vergos has previously played for Greek giants Panathinaikos
and Olympiacos as well as Real Madrid Castilla.
Newcastle Jets Coach Mark Milligan is excited for Vergos to join.
