Warren Moon appointed Mariners boss on permanent basis: Full Details

Central Coast Mariners have appointed Warren Moon as their permanent head coach on a deal until the end of the 2025-26 Isuzu UTE A-League season.

Previously acting in an interim capacity following the departure of former head coach Mark Jackson, Moon has now been handed a full time contract until the end of the current campaign.

Taking charge of 11 games so far this season, the former Brisbane Roar boss has guided the Mariners to three wins during his tenure, the most recent of which was a 4-0 thrashing of Adelaide United at Cooper Stadium.

“Warren has proven himself to be a fantastic fit for our organisation,” said Central Coast Mariners CEO Greg Brownlow.

“We are proud to announce him as Head Coach for the remainder of the 2025/26 season.”

Sat 11th on the ladder following that impressive win in South Australia, the Mariners will be looking carry that winning form into Saturday night’s clash against Perth Glory at HBF Park.
