Adelaide United are under new leadership this season and head coach Airton Andrioli has named several new faces in his extended squad for Friday’s clash with Sydney FC, headlined by captain and club legend Craig Goodwin’s return. Mark Birighitti suffered a knee injury in training this week, leading the club to sign Matthew Sutton on a three-month injury-replacement contract.
