Melbourne Victory have made another big addition to their squad ahead of the upcoming Ninja A-League campaign with the signing of midfielder Grace Maher.
Maher re-joins Victory as a free agent after Western United’s Club Participation Agreement (CPA) was placed in conditional hibernation for the upcoming campaign, having establishing herself as one of the finest footballers in the league.

A supremely talented midfielder, Maher featured 24 times last season for Western, scoring four goals and registering four assists to help her side qualify for the Finals Series, including a stunning Olimpico.
Maher now returns to the club where she plied her trade for two seasons between 2018 – 2020 before moving on to pastures new.
“I am extremely excited to be able to call Melbourne Victory home once again,” said Maher.
“The club’s ambitions align strongly with my own and so this opportunity was something I could not turn down.

“She has gone on to do great things since her first spell at Victory and we are thrilled to get her back on board.
“With plenty of experience playing at this level and captaining her side last season at just 26 years old, we feel that Grace can really elevate our squad in the pursuit of silverware.”
