It is a new era for Adelaide United, with some familiar faces leading the way.

Youth guru Airton Andrioli is the new man at the helm after the assistant coach was promoted to replace club great Carl Veart at the end of 2024-25.

The Reds reached the Elimination Final last season but all eyes will be on whether Andrioli can solve Adelaide’s defensive issues – having conceded 106 goals across the past two campaigns – and fill the void left by Golden Boot winner Archie Goodwin.

Adelaide, though, have been boosted by the return of club great and all-time leading goalscorer Craig Goodwin, to accompany the arrivals of veteran overseas duo Anselmo de Moraes and Juan Muniz.
