Perth Glory have significantly strengthened their midfield stocks with the signing of 21-year-old CommBank Olyroos midfielder Rhys Bozinovski on a two-year deal.
The Australian youth international joins Perth after Western United’s Club Participation Agreement (CPA) was placed in conditional hibernation for the upcoming campaign.
Bozinovski spent the last four seasons at Western United. He made his Isuzu UTE A-League debut aged 18 in 2022 but it wasn’t until the 2024-25 campaign that he truly burst onto the scene.

The central midfielder scored five goals and notched two assists in 25 appearances for Western last season, to cement himself as one of the top young Australian players to watch in the Isuzu UTE A-League.
Fresh from helping the Olyroos qualify for the AFC Under-23 Asian Cup in 2026, Bozinovski has returned from the three-game qualification campaign in China to ink a two-year contract with Glory as the next chapter in his career begins in Western Australia.
“As soon as I spoke with (Glory football director) Stan Lazaridis, it was a no-brainer to come to Perth Glory,” he said.
“I see the club’s vision and ambition and what they’re headed towards and I want to be a part of the success.
“Personally, I want to continue to develop myself on the pitch. I will give the club everything and I want to continue to contribute as much as possible to this team’s success.
“I’m very excited to start this new chapter in my career and am ready to work hard and give it all for the club and the fans.”

Bozinovski is the second young player to have joined Glory from Western United following the arrival of 21-year-old Iraq international defender Charbel Shamoon on a two year deal.
Glory football director Stan Lazaridis believes Bozinovski is one of the best midfielders in the Isuzu UTE A-League at the age of 21, and still has plenty of room for further development.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have secured Rhys’ services,” Lazaridis said.
“He was one of the very best midfielders in the A-League last season and aged just 21, he has an incredibly high ceiling in terms of just how good he can be.
“He’s a dynamic, box-to-box central midfielder and his goals and assists record shows that he’s a real threat in the final third.”
