Newcastle Jets have announced New Zealand international Deven Jackson has departed the club in pursuit of another opportunity in the Ninja A-League.
The 27-year-old spent the 2024-25 campaign at the Jets after a one-season stint at Canberra United. The forward made 18 appearances for Newcastle and scored six goals to claim an equal share of the club’s Golden Boot award.
Jackson is the eighth confirmed departure from the Jets this off-season following the exit of Danielle Krzyzaniak, Tiahna Robertson, Lorena Baumann, Lara Gooch, Sheridan Gallagher, Bel Rolley and Gia Vicari.
