A host of Ninja A-League stars helped Australia’s Under-23 side qualify for the semi-finals of the ASEAN Women’s Championships MSIG Serenity Cup 2025 after easing past Timor-Leste 9-0.
Melbourne Victory pair Alana Jancevski and Holly Furphy led the way with two goals apiece as Australia celebrated back-to-back wins to secure a final-four date against hosts Vietnam.
Furphy bagged first-half brace in a ruthless display, while Ninja A-League teammate Jancevski and Perth Glory’s Grace Johnson – who signed a new contract this week – also found the back of the net in the opening 45 minutes.
