Brisbane Roar have signed rising star forward Justin VidiÄ on a two-year deal as Michael Valkanis continues to build his squad for the Isuzu UTE A-League 2025-26 season.Ā
Having come through the Marconi Stallions youth set-up, VidiÄ had a standout 2022-23 NSW NPL season, which involved 23 appearances for the club.Ā
The 21-year-old then signed with the Newcastle Jets on a scholarship deal ahead of the 23/24 season, where he went on to play 12 matches and scored his first A-League goal in Round 9 against Adelaide United.

VidiÄ scored a brace against Rockdale Ilinden during the 2024 Australia Cup and was called up to the U23 Australian National team for the PacificAus Football series last September, where he found the back of the net against Vanuatu.
Speaking on signing with the club, VidiÄ said: āIām excited to continue my professional career here at Brisbane Roar, one of the biggest clubs in the A-League.
āIām driven to work hard and give my all for my teammates and the fans both in pre-season and throughout the campaign.ā
Head Coach Michael Valkanis said: āJustin is a traditional tall, strong, back-to-goal forward who joins the club with an immense amount of potential.
