Mary Stanic-Floody scored a stunning equaliser to help secured a point for Canberra United in their 1-1 draw with Perth Glory.
Stanic-Floody’s fantastic long-range effort 21 minutes from the end cancelled out Isobel Dalton’s 41st-minute opener in the Ninja A-League showdown in Sydney on Sunday.
The 18-year-old Canberra sensation celebrated her second goal of the season after Glory co-captain Dalton had put Perth ahead in the Unite Round clash.

Canberra are fourth in the standings through four rounds, three points ahead of ninth-placed Perth.
Matildas goalkeeper Casey Dumont was in the starting XI for her Perth debut after one season with Central Coast Mariners and the conclusion of her second campaign at Hawthorn in AFLW.

She was in the thick of the action early as Matildas and Canberra star Michelle Heyman got to the ball ahead of Dumont in the sixth minute, however, the A-Leagues legend was unable to maintain control as the ball rolled away to the relief of the new Glory keeper.
After surviving a goalmouth scramble, Heyman went down in a nervy moment before receiving treatment on her foot.
Moments later, Canberra goalkeeper Sally James produced a fantastic save to keep out Sarah O’Donoghue and Perth. The deflected shot was kept out by the outstretched shot-stopper’s foot before hitting the post.
Glory hit the front four minutes prior to the interval when Dalton’s deflected shot wrong-footed James and found the back of the net.
Canberra went in search of an equaliser in the second half and they got their goal with 21 minutes remaining – Stanic-Floody’s long-range effort flew past Dumont.
