“Obviously not the greatest of starts to the season for myself,” Sainsbury told Paramount+.
“I’m two weeks post-op. Pec tear, unfortunate incident in the gym but just another chapter in the book that is my career at the moment.
“But I’m feeling good. The doctor and surgeon said everything’s on track. I’m feeling good about how everything went and positive to be back on the pitch very, very soon.”
