Western United and Red Bull join forces in deal ‘set to make history for Australian football’

Western United have unveiled Red Bull Australia as the A-Leagues club’s Official Energy Drink Partner.

In a deal “set to make history for Australian football”, Western become the first A-Leagues outfit to join forces with Red Bull – the global energy drink giant that is synonymous with sport across the globe via its Formula One team and football clubs RB Salzburg in Austria and RB Leipzig in Germany.

At Western United’s Isuzu UTE A-League home opener against Juan Mata’s Western Sydney Wanderers on Sunday, October 27, fans will be treated to a spectacular aerobatic display by
Emma McDonald as she flies over Ironbark Fields, where Red Bull will feature at each matchday with their event vehicle and DJ set-up.

One lucky Western member will also have a once-in-a-lifetime co-pilot experience the following day, a prize that will be awarded as part of Member Week at the club.

Red Bull will also be working with each of Western United’s teams on ways to integrate its products into the players’ routines.

Kat Smith’s Ninja A-League Women side will kick-off their 2024-25 campaign at home to Wellington Phoenix on November 1, after John Aloisi’s men open their season away to Wellington Phoenix on Sunday, October 20.
