Brisbane Roar’s new signing Rafael Struick scored his first international goal for Indonesia in a player-of-the-match performance for the visitors against Bahrain.

Struick opened his Indonesia account in the 74th minute as the Roar recruit put the visitors ahead in Friday’s thrilling 2-2 Group C draw with Bahrain in 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup qualifying.

The 21-year-old forward found the back of the net with a sublime curled effort in his 18 international appearance.
