“I’m incredibly proud to continue my journey with Adelaide United,” Hodgson said, with the Reds due to kick-off their season at home to Melbourne Victory on November 2.
“This club has always felt like home, and I’m excited for what the future holds as we aim to achieve great things together.
“As a South Australian myself, I’m really passionate about helping the next generation of local talent.
“I’m hungry to be a peer and mentor to the young South Australians in our squad and those coming through the FSA NTC system, and to be a helping hand as they make their mark in the A-League Women’s competition.”
Hodgson follows Katie Bowler, Zoe Tolland, Meleri Mullan, Sarah Morgan, Ella Tonkin, Nanako Sasaki, Emily Condon and Chelsie Dawber in re-signing at Adelaide.
The Reds have also recruited Matilda McNamara, Tiarna Karambasis, Erin Healy and former Julie Dolan Medallist Fiona Worts.
“Isabel is a true leader on and off the pitch. Her dedication, work ethic, and versatility make her an invaluable asset to our squad,” said Adelaide’s head of football Marius Zanin.
“We are thrilled to have her with us for another two years as we continue to build and strive for success.”
