The 2023-24 started with so much promise as Wellington Phoenix eventually fell short of the Finals Series. But there was so much to like about Paul Temple’s side as they dream big this season.

They did farewell the likes of Mariana Speckmaier and Macey Fraser but the ‘Nix have recruited well – bringing in Portuguese goalkeeper Carolina Vilao and Mebae Tanaka from Japan, as well as announcing the return of New Zealand international Grae Jale.
