Newcastle Jets are coming off an history-making season.

Not only did the Jets win their first ever Finals Series game, but Newcastle advanced to the Semi-Finals before succumbing to reigning premiers Melbourne City.

Newcastle – boasting some exciting local talent – will have to fill the void left by Philippines star Sarina Bolden and Melina Ayres, who is taking a break from football.
