A-Leagues prospects help Young Socceroos qualify for 2025 AFC U20 Asian Cup

A Marin Jakolis strike late on in the match has proven the difference as Macarthur FC won their second Australia Cup in three years, defeating Melbourne Victory 1-0.

The Subway Young Socceroos booked their ticket to the 2025 AFC Under-20 Asian Cup following a 0-0 draw with Saudi Arabia.

The Young Socceroos, boasting 19 rising stars from the Isuzu UTE A-League in their 23-player squad, finished level with Saudi Arabia on 10 points through four games, but adrift on goal difference.
