Adelaide United have re-signed South Australian midfielder Austin Ayoubi for an additional two years in the Isuzu UTE A-League.
Ayoubi – labelled a “remarkable talent” by the Reds – has established himself in Adelaide’s team with his “exceptional skills” since joining from NPLM SA outfit MetroStars in November last year.
The 23-year-old made his A-Leagues debut against Sydney FC in January before earning his maiden start away to Wellington Phoenix in March.

“I am thrilled to extend my contract with Adelaide United,” said Ayoubi, who is a “fan favourite” with the Reds.
“It’s an honour to wear the Red of my hometown club, and I am committed to giving my all for the club and its supporters.”
Ayoubi is the fourth Adelaide player to re-sign this off-season after Ethan Cox (2027), Isaías (2024) and Javi López (2024), while Archie Goodwin (Newcastle Jets) and Dylan Pierias (Western Sydney Wanderers) have moved to Coopers Stadium.

“Austin is a true example of someone who is committed to working hard and determined to prove himself within a professional environment.
“As we did with Austin, we will always look at our own backyard first, as we pride ourselves on giving South Australian talent the opportunity.”
