Perth Glory have signed 18-year-old centre-back Zach Lisolajski on a two-year deal.
The Young Socceroo joins Glory after a stint at Western United; the teenager debuted for the Victorian club in January, 2024 and went on to accrue six Isuzu UTE A-League appearances for John Aloisi’s side.
The left-footed central defender is a Young Socceroos squad regular and will compete for a spot in the national team age-group side set to represent Australia at the AFF U19 Youth Championship in July.
Lisolajski said conversations with Glory football director Stan Lazaridis convinced him of a move to Perth.
“After speaking with Stan Lazaridis, whom I admired as a left-sided player, I was impressed with his belief in me,” he said.
“With a lot of hard work and the belief that I have in my ability, I hope to be a starting eleven player and develop more as a footballer with the support from the coaching staff and my teammates.
“I expect Perth Glory to be playing finals football next year, which is a place where we know the club belongs.”

Lazaridis described Glory’s newest signing as a “no-nonsense defender” who brings balance to the squad as a left-footed centre-back.
“Zach’s an absolute machine at the back, a no-nonsense defender,” he said.
“He is someone that will need a little bit of developing, but with a bit of experience playing alongside him, he’s another one that I can see going on to play senior international football in the future.
“As a left-footer, Zach gives us another option and that extra bit of balance at the back and he’s another new recruit that I’m really excited about.
“Once he does a good pre-season and gets used to the style of play, I think he’s going to be great.”
