Brisbane Roar have today confirmed the departure of fullback Corey Brown following the conclusion of the Hyundai A-League 2017/18 season.
Brown, 24, made just 12 appearances for the Roar this season with injuries and a dip in form restricting his on-field contributions.
Brisbane’s player of the season in 2016/17, Brown has been linked to a move to Melbourne Victory next season following enquiries from the Victorian club back in January.
The fullback made 88 appearances for the Roar over six seasons since his debut in 2012, scoring two goals in that span.
He was apart of Brisbane’s Championship-winning side in 2013/14, though he didn’t appear in the Grand Final.
