Melbourne Victory and Adelaide United are set to renew hostilities against the backdrop of a Hyundai A-League Elimination Final at AAMI Park tonight.
Moving within one match of the Grand Final is the carrot for two clubs who share a heated history.

But, if they survive the first hurdle, it won’t get any easier next week.
Sydney FC are the opponents awaiting tonight’s winner, with Melbourne City – the highest-ranked team outside the top two – having already locked in a clash with Newcastle Jets at McDonald Jones Stadium.
That means either Victory or Adelaide will be forced to travel to Allianz Stadium next Saturday night.
First, of course, is the small matter of their Elimination Final, kicking off at 6:00pm (AEST) tonight.
