Ahead of the start of their 2018 AFC Champions League campaign starting next week, Melbourne Victory have announced their squad for the initial stages of the competition.
The biggest conjecture over the make-up of the squad was over which of his four imports coach Kevin Muscat would omit, with Argentine midfielder Matias Sanchez the unlucky player to miss the cut.
It means striker Besart Berisha, Dutch winger Leroy George and Kiwi flyer Kosta Barbarouses are Victory’s three foreign players in the 23-man squad.
Victory open their 2018 ACL campaign next Tuesday night against Ulsan Hyundai at Melbourne Rectangular Stadium.
Japanese outfit Kawasaki Frontale and Chinese Super League giants Shanghai SIPG are the other teams in Group F.
Before their ACL encounter, Victory hosts Brisbane Roar in Round 20 of the Hyundai A-League on Friday night.
