The independent Match Review Panel (MRP) – consisting of Simon Micallef (Chair), Con Diomis and Adam D’Apuzzo – convened on Monday, 15 January 2018 to consider an incident involving Harrison Delbridge (Delbridge) in or around the 28th minute of Melbourne City FC’s Hyundai A-League 2017/18 Season Round 16 Match against Central Coast Mariners on Sunday, 14 January 2018.
The MRP has the authority to consider the incident as Delbridge was issued with a direct Red Card by the Referee.
The MRP determined that Delbridge had committed the offence of serious foul play.
The MRP confirmed that Delbridge will serve a suspension of one (1) match, being the minimum sanction for the offence.
