Which players from the USA have performed best in this season’s Westfield W-League?

Carson Pickett (Roar)
A phenomenal addition to Brisbane Roar this season.
With 632 touches on the ball from nine appearances she also has one goal, 16 clearances and 15 interceptions.
Out of the US players, she leads the crosses stats with 52 (second overall to Kyah Simon).
Rachel Hill (Perth Glory)
Having played 9 Westfield W-League games this season, Hill has scored seven goals this season, the most of any US player (ahead of Newcastle’s US pair Katie Stengel on 6 and Arin Gilliland on 5 and Makenzy Doniak of Adelaide also on 5).
Hill tops the chances created by the US players with 23 (second overall) while she has 3 assists.
As for shots on target, Hill is tied with Gilliland on 14.
Lauren Barnes (City)
With 738 touches on the ball this season, US midfield maestro, Lauren Barnes also has a total of 505 successful passes, the highest of any US player.
Barnes has been able to link up with City’s front three, while still remembering her defensive duties, with 44 clearances and 20 interceptions.
Celeste Boureille (Roar)
The central midfielder has been instrumental to the Roar’s success this season.
Winning 55 duels, and 20 tackles, Brisbane’s number 6 has been feared by fellow midfield competitors.
In addition to her outstanding statistics defensively, her work rate is second to none, with an outstanding 91 recoveries, ensuring that the Roar has the best defensive record in the league, conceding just 9 goals in 9 games.
Haley Kopmeyer (Canberra United)
Mid-table Canberra United have their goalkeeper to thank for some heroic goalkeeping this season.
Haley Kopmeyer has made the most saves of all goalkeepers in the Westfield W-League so far.
With 37 saves in 8 games, Kopmeyer has been phenomenal in between the sticks for United, which still gives them hope of playing finals football come season’s end.
