Melbourne Victory defeated Adelaide United 4-0 on Saturday afternoon.
Gaining a measure of revenge after their Hyundai A-League side lost to Adelaide on Friday night, Victory Women were up 3-0 by half time at Lakeside in Melbourne.
A goal to Natashie Dowie off an Angela Beard corner got the scoring underway before South Korean international Jeon Ga-eul and Lia Privitelli had the home side in the driving seat at the break.
A fourth to English goal machine Dowie shortly after the break put the game beyond the Lady Reds. That put Dowie into outright all-time leading goalscorer with her 15 and 16th goals in 25 games for Victory.
