Connor Pain v Melbourne Victory
Against his former club no less, the livewire winger found himself in a good position just inside the box with the scores 0-0.
He weaved his way around Big V defenders and across into a central position before unleashing a lovely right footer past Lawrence Thomas.
Roy Krishna v Brisbane Roar
What a strike this was! Picking up the ball in space on the right flank, Krishna drove towards goal before unleashing a powerful effort from 30 metres which arrowed into the top corner.
Roar keeper Michael Theo had less than a metre to navigate but the pace on the shot left him with absolutely no chance.
Ross McCormack v Adelaide United
The Scottish attacker bagged a brace against the Reds but his second goal was the pick from his side’s 2-0 win over Adelaide.
Stepping up to a free-kick around 25 metres from goal, McCormack curled a sublime strike over the Reds wall and into the top corner, leaving keeper Paul Izzo with no chance.
