Melbourne Victory will head into the Westfield W-League season full of confidence after a big pre-season win over Adelaide United on Saturday afternoon.
In a dominant performance from Jeff Hopkins’ side, Victory scored once before the break before their pressure told with two more goals in the second half.
It was Whitney Knight, who only signed with Victory this week, who opened the scoring before Natasha Dowie grabbed a brace after the break.
It’s the perfect final hit-out for Victory ahead of their Westfield W-League opener against Canberra United at Epping Stadium on Saturday, October 28.
