Brisbane Roar are close to finalising a deal for French winger Eric Bautheac, subject to the completion of a medical examination.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
►Bautheac is set to confirm a one-year deal next week, pending his medical.
►The 30-year-old – currently a free agent – joins after a stint in Ligue 1 in France at LOSC Lille.
►He brings over ten years of top division experience to Roar, having spent the majority of his professional career in France’s top flight.
►Bautheac is primarily as a left-winger, and made a total of 172 appearances in Ligue 1, scoring 26 goals and creating 25 assists.
►He is just the third Frenchman after William Gallas and Matthieu Delpierre to play in the Hyundai A-League.
