Transfer news: Sydney FC sign Polish winger

Hyundai A-League champions Sydney FC have signed Polish international winger Adrian Mierzejewski.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

*Mierzejewski has signed a three-year deal with the Sky Blues.

*The 30-year-old has been capped 40 times by Poland.

KEEN TO MAKE HIS MARK IN A-LEAGUE

“I’m extremely pleased to be joining the Hyundai A-League double winners and can’t wait to begin the challenge of improving on last season,” Mierzejewski said.

“Sydney FC are a famous club and one I am very proud to be joining. There is a big challenge ahead of us with the added excitement of an AFC Champions League campaign.

“I have spoken with the Head Coach [Graham Arnold] and I know we have a very big and exciting season ahead.”
