Brisbane Roar have secured the services of ex-Sydney FC and Melbourne City flyer Corey Gameiro for the Hyundai A-League 2017/18 Season.
The 24-year-old has endured an injury-plagued couple of seasons but will add experience and searing speed to what will be a new-look Roar attack.

“We are pleased to welcome Corey to the Brisbane Roar family,” Roar boss Aloisi said.
“There is no doubt Corey has an X-factor about him and has the ability to cause opposition defences plenty of issues with his unpredictability.
“He is a versatile footballer who will undoubtedly strengthen our talented squad.”
Gameiro is a former Australian U20 and U23 youth international.
As a youngster he also signed a professional contract with English side Fulham FC in 2009, making a host of Reserve Team appearances for the club.
“The opportunity to come to the Roar who I know are a tight-knit club is the ideal environment for me to re-establish myself,” Gameiro said.
“I want to start pre-season strongly and work hard at training to improve my game.
“As a striker, I look forward to being coached and learn from John Aloisi. I’m not here to lose; I want to win in everything I do.”
Gameiro will begin training with his new Roar teammates on Thursday.
