Adelaide United has announced that former Blacktown City winger Danny Choi has departed the Hyundai A-League Champions.
Choi, who made two appearances for the Reds, signed for the Club as an injury replacement for Marcelo Carrusca.
Due to Carrusca’s return to Adelaide United’s playing squad in the team’s 2-1 loss to Central Coast Mariners on Sunday, Choi is no longer available for selection.

The club also advised that Choi has suffered a stress fracture in his foot and subsequently had surgery to repair the extent of the injury, which could take 10-12 weeks to recover.
Choi rose to prominence after a standout campaign with Blacktown City in the NSW PS4 NPL and a string of impressive performances in the Westfield FFA Cup, which included a stunning long-range strike against Sydney United in the Round of 32.
