Reds suffer another injury blow

Adelaide United’s attacking stocks have been further decimated following confirmation Henrique will miss up to six weeks of football with a knee injury.

The Brazilian-born striker sustained a grade two Medial Collateral Ligament (MCL) injury in the Reds’ 2-1 loss to Melbourne Victory at Coopers Stadium on Saturday night.

The 31-year-old had to be substituted just shy of the hour mark following a heavy tacke and will join Marcelo Carrusca and Sergio Cirio on the sidelines.

The defending champions will go searching for their first win of the season against Melbourne City on Friday night at AAMI Park having been beaten in injury time in consecutive weeks.
