Perth Glory boss Kenny Lowe says a clash with Sydney FC in the Round of 16 is exactly what his side wants in the Westfield FFA Cup.
The two Hyundai A-League clubs were drawn to play against each other in the next round after convincing round of 32 wins on Wednesday night, including Glory’s 2-0 disposal of Brisbane Roar at Ballymore.
“It’s good. We’ve had a decent little run in the FFA Cup in the last couple of years and if you’re going to win it you have to beat people don’t you?,” a smiling Lowe said of the match-up with Sky Blues on Fox Sports.
“Arnie [Sydney coach Graham Arnold] likes Perth as well so he’ll be looking forward to coming over.
