Perth Glory coach Kenny Lowe has fired a warning to his players ahead of tonight’s clash against the Newcastle Jets at nib Stadium.
A victory will lift seventh placed Glory into the top six for the first time this season at the expense of Sydney FC after they were beaten by Melbourne City on Saturday night.
With the return of veteran defender Dino Djulbic, Lowe has the unusual luxury of choosing from a full and fit squad, with the exception of Marc Warren (suspended) and the injured Ruben Zadkovich.
“Yeah, it’s party time for me,” joked the Glory coach.
“Our focus is on Newcastle. They’re the form team with us and Adelaide”.
While Glory smashed the Jets 6-1 in the Hunter six weeks ago, Newcastle have since turned their foturnes around and are unbeaten in their past three matches.
“We need a performance Monday that’s what we need. Generally if we get those we get something out of the game that’s the focus for everyone,” Lowe said.
“If you don’t perform you don’t play, we’re going into the business end of the year, we’ve got a big game this weekend so everyone has to perform.”
Kick-off is at 5pm and tickets can be purchased HERE
