Central Coast Mariners keeper Liam Reddy has been stood down and will not be available for selection whilst the club addresses a series of off-field issues, said the club on Wednesday.
‘This decision follows Reddy’s non-selection during a period of the Mariners’ Hyundai A-League pre-season where similar and continual disciplinary issues were also addressed,” explained the club in a brief statement late on Wednesday.
The Mariners added it would not be making any further comment on the issue while they undertake a formal process in relation to the matter.
Central Coast head to Melbourne City for a Round 3 Hyundai A-League clash at AAMI Park this Sunday.
