Coe axed as three depart Victory

Melbourne Victory goalkeeper Nathan Coe has been released by the newly-crowned Hyundai A-League Champions, the club announced on Saturday.

Victory also announced that young stars Andrew Nabbout and Jordan Brown would not be offered new contracts.

Coe played 73 Hyundai A-League  games for Melbourne Victory  and sadly suffered a season-ending back injury against Wellington Phoenix in April.

Nabbout made 40 appearances for the club since his debut in 2012, while Brown has represented the club in four A-League fixtures since 2013.

Melbourne Victory football operations manager Paul Trimboli thanked the departing players for their contributions to the club.

“Every player on our list plays a role in the club’s on- and off-field success and Nathan, Andrew and Jordan have all contributed in their own way to many great moments during their time with us,” Trimboli said.

“Everyone at Melbourne Victory Football Club wishes them well as they further their football careers.”
