Frans Thijssen believes a full-strength Brisbane Roar can beat anyone in the league, but won’t be monitoring the situation surrounding Perth Glory.
Roar overpowered Central Coast Mariners 6-1 at Suncorp Stadium on Thursday night thanks to Steven Lustica’s hat-trick and a first Thomas Broich appearance since March 15.

“We know we have a good team. If everyone is here we can beat anybody,” Thijssen said.
“That’s clear I think for everybody.”
However, Thijssen declined to comment on the possibility of Roar securing a Finals Series spot as a consequence of Glory being issued a Show Cause notice for alleged salary cap breaches.
“I don’t talk about Perth. We can’t look at other teams,” Roar’s interim coach said.
“We are focussed on our performance and that’s it.”
The 63-year-old did find time to praise the performance of former Hajduk Split midfielder Lustica, whose first two strikes helped hand the home side a 3-0 lead at half-time as captain Matt McKay watched from the bench.
“If you score three goals as a midfield player then you can be happy,” Thijssen said.
“Steve has had maybe a difficult season but he’s good on the ball. He’s a different player than a Matt McKay or Luke Brattan, they are stronger defensively.
“But on the ball he’s an attacking, good player and I’m very happy for him that he got three goals.
“It gives me an extra choice so that’s positive.”
