Fans in Wollongong have a chance to see their favourite Hyundai A-League stars up close with the Foxtel A-League All Stars squad to hold an open training session at WIN Stadium this Sunday, August 3.
In a rare opportunity for fans on the south coast, have a photo with Besart Berisha, an autograph by Thomas Broich and a quick chat with Youssouf Hersi.
The Foxtel A-League All Stars squad will be based in Wollongong for five days as they prepare for the challenge of taking on Italian champions Juventus.
As well as the opportunity to watch the A-League’s best players train, there will also be poster giveaways and a signing session.
Fans can also take in the NSW NPL 1 first grade match between South Coast Wolves FC and St George FC at 3pm.
Entry for this exciting chance is free and gates open at 9.30am, with training to start at 10am.
Foxtel A-League All Stars coach Josep Gombau has thrown open the gates so fans can see what goes into getting ready for the big game at ANZ Stadium against the Italian powerhouse.
Juventus boast some of the world’s best players including World Cup winners Gianluigi Buffon and Andrea Pirlo, Argentinean striker Carlos Tevez and French midfielder Paul Pogba.
And new signing from Manchester United, Patrice Evra, is set for a second year of action after playing in last year’s clash for the Red Devils against the Foxtel A-League All Stars.
The Foxtel A-League All Stars will be led on August 10 by Italian legend and former Juventus and Sydney FC star Alessandro Del Piero, who will take on his old club for the very first time.
