Zebras down traditional rivals
Tilford Zebras bounced back well from their Lakoseljac Cup disappointment with a three goal second half steering them past traditional rivals Olympia FC Warriors in a 4-1 result.

The first half belonged to Olympia but they failed to make the most of their control of possession as Ethan Engels, Curran Ferns, Alex Leszczynski and Ben Whitehall all found the back of the net for the Zebras.

Glenorchy lift off the floor of table with win at Lion-s den
Glenorchy Knights held off a late Kingborough charge at Lightwood Park to record a 3-2 win, just their second for the season.

Knights opened in the 21st minute, former Lion Seungyong Jin doing the damage against his old side, and they led 3-0 before a late fight back from the Lions. However the young Knights held on and won their second match for the season to jump into seventh position on the ladder.

Devonport return to winning ways
Devonport returned to winning ways, coming from behind to take down Launceston City 5-2.

The Strikers looked likely to continue their fortress at Valley Road when Callum Moore struck in the 24th minute, the tall English target man played through one on one by a long Casey Eaves ball to slot past the approaching keeper to make it 1-0.

The Strikers looked likely to continue their fortress at Valley Road when Callum Moore struck in the 24th minute, the tall English target man played through one on one by a long Casey Eaves ball to slot past the approaching keeper to make it 1-0.

However Launceston had other ideas as they struck twice to lead at the break. With their backs to the wall, Devonport then turned the tables, scoring four unanswered second half goals to win 5-2, Moore and Michael Holden both bagging a double as the Strikers moved into fifth.

10 man South Hobart smash Rangers to go five points clear
A thumping 6-1 away win over Northern Rangers has seen South Hobart shoot five points clear at the top of the table with sharpshooter Brayden Mann starring with a hat trick.

It was a top of the table clash with top spot on the line at NTCA on Sunday, but the Rangers couldn-t deliver the performance the home crowd wanted, with South Hobart stealing the day, storming home emphatically despite having ten men for 66 minutes.

A cruel own goal iced the game for the visitors, with Rangers defender Ryan McCarragher cutting off a Kass cross into his own net, sealing a 6-1 South Hobart smashing.
