Central Coast goalkeeper Mat Ryan has signed a three-year contract with Belgium giants Club Brugge.
Ryan flew out of Sydney on Monday for a medical and confirmed the deal via Twitter early on Friday morning.
“I am very happy to announce that today I have signed with Club Brugge for the next three seasons,” Ryan said.
It-s understood that Ryan has been offered a chance at the club No.1 jersey, and, contrary to reports that the Mariners would receive a “training compensation” fee, the club negotiated a transfer fee believed to be in the region of $200,000 and a sell-on fee for the highly rated 21-year-old.
