Brent Griffiths will remain with Central Coast Mariners for another campaign after signing a one-season extension with the club.
The 23-year-old was called upon five times throughout the club-s 2012/13 Hyundai A-League season, and was also deployed in the 2013 AFC Champions League Group Stage.
With veteran stopper Patrick Zwaanswijk retiring from professional football in order to take up a coaching role with the Club, Griffiths will be looking to stake his claim for a regular starting place in the team next term when the Mariners reconvene for pre-season training in July.
Brent Griffiths is the younger brother of former Mariner Rostyn Griffiths, who now plies his trade in China with Guangzhou R&F.
