The Hyundai A-League has been voted one of the top 20 football leagues in the world, by World Soccer magazine.

The survey, based on points which rated each league for criteria such as attendances, finances, goals scored, competitiveness, star players, and stadiums, put Germany-s Bundesliga at no.1, followed by the English Premier League.

The survey also analysed league income, goals per game, how many different clubs had won the title in recent years, how many major titles coaches had won, how many stadiums had been built since 2000, how many players had played in the 2010 World Cup, and clubs’ competitiveness in their continent’s major competitions.
