With 29 days to the Hyundai A-League Season kick-off, former Socceroos goalkeeper Mark ‘Bozza- Bosnich spoke with a-league.com.au on the “WE ARE FOOTBALL” campaign, and what football and the fans means to him.
“Football has given me everything I have in life, it-s more than just a job, it-s in my blood, in my veins and it-s something I can-t do without.”
Football has been a major part of Mark-s life; he played 17 internationals for the Socceroos and spent over 14 years in the English Premier League.
Bosnich-s love for the game is never ending and he couldn-t help but rave about why the fans are the most important aspect of the game.
“The fans are the lifeblood of the game” said Bosnich.
The “WE ARE FOOTBALL” campaign is about the things we all share as football fans. Regardless of which club we support, our age, gender, background, nationality or circumstance, football belongs to all of us, we-re all part owners, we-re all fans.
This feature is the first of a range of interviews a-league.com.au will be undertaking with members of the football family from personalities, coaches and players right through to children who play football each weekend.
